Its construction features a sturdy, all-aluminum body and sideplates, along with a forged and machined aluminum spool with Line Capacity Rings.
The reel's CNC Gear Technology delivers a smooth, high-speed retrieve, with a gear ratio of 5.2:1 and an impressive line recovery rate of 22" | 56cm per crank. The spool is equipped to securely attach braided line, with mono capacity ranging from 275/2 to 105/6 yards/lbs, and braid capacity from 160/6 to 110/10.
The Battle III is engineered with 5 stainless steel ball bearings and 1 instant anti-reverse bearing, ensuring a silky-smooth operation for any saltwater fishing adventure. The HT-100 front drag system, built with carbon fiber washers, provides a maximum drag of 9lb | 4.0kg, allowing you to battle large fish without wearing yourself out.
